Barb Alvarez is an Arizona native who grew up in the historic town of Bisbee, AZ. When the copper mines shut down in 1975 she relocated with her family to Safford, AZ. In 1979 she moved to the Phoenix area where she has had the opportunity to see the Valley of the Sun grow both grow up, with the new high-rise living that is becoming so popular, and out, with the growing number freeways and residential developments sprouting from all directions. Barb has lived in several area cities: Glendale, Phoenix, Tempe, Gilbert, and is now settled in Scottsdale.

Barb worked for several years in the Information and Technology industry as an applications programmer before starting her real estate career in 2003. Although her number of years in the real estate profession may be short, her hard work and dedication to her clients is long.
